CrystalFebruary was a great month in my family’s life. In fact, it’s one of the best months we’ve had in a long time! We finally got to get out of the house for some family time and we made it happen with some new outings, activities and friends. I love that time of the year when it starts to warm up and we can get outside. I love the fresh air and feeling of spring in the air. February was a beautiful month! Below are some of our favorite moments.
New Outings/activities
The first Sunday in February, we visited the Sky Zone near us for the first time! We’ve been wanting to try it out for a long time and finally got around to it. It was such a ton of fun! I love that you can visit as many times as you want in a 24 hour period and it allows you to build your own plan each time. The kids had a blast and I loved how safe it felt at the same time. We did have a few hiccups but they didn’t stop us from having a great time.
On Valentine’s Day, we went to have dinner with my parents and we then came back home to have some family time with just the four of us.
On Valentine’s Day, we also had some chocolate covered strawberries delivered right to our door! They were delicious! I love that you can order gifts online. Sure, they are a bit more pricey, but it’s nice to not have to go out and search for an expensive gift. I also love the convenience of having it delivered straight to our house!
I love that we’ve started a new family tradition of watching movies together. We watch one on Sunday nights and this past week was our first viewing in 2019. We watched the live action movie version of The Little Mermaid and it was delightful! It runs about two hours long but we all enjoyed it.
